Title: Sr Project Manager (MDM)
Work Authorization: USC, GC, or H1B

Location: El Segundo, CA
Duration: 6 months+

The team is supporting a big MDM initiative:
Provider MDM
Patient MDM-
Looking for this PM to serve as a Scrum Master for the Provider
They are running Agile with a bit of Waterfall so it’s a hybrid approach
They are supporting 5 markets for this MDM implementation and the goal is to get them into the production/staging areas
2 markets are in flight
2 markets are not in development so this still needs to be done
1 market is in production
2019 will be Phase II – bring in additional resources

Top 3 Skills They are Looking for Candidates to Have:
1. PM who has experience serving as a Scrum Master
2. Healthcare data familiarity (Provide Data experience is preferred)/MDM Experience
3. Must have familiarity with the following tools is a must have:
a. JIRA
b. Confluence – They do a lot of documentation using Confluence
c. ServiceNow – This is their ticketing system and tracking system

Duties:

Looking for a PM with Scrum Master experience and obviously the healthcare/Provider data/MDM experience
Facilitates the capturing and prioritization of project requirements
Leads, plans, schedules, tracks, and manages project deliverables, goals, and milestones; adjusts project plans and/or resources to meet changing needs and requirements
Assesses risks and creates strategies for risk mitigation and project contingency planning
Designs and maintains technical and project documentation
Identifies and resolves project issues; ensures appropriate communication to project stakeholders
Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate
Develops and executes stakeholder management plan
Manages project scope and the change control process as appropriate
Develops project plans and team assignments
Directs and monitors daily work of teams including progress toward goals
Identifies and secures resources as needed
Provides day-to-day direction and oversight over project engineering teams
Develops and manages project budgets, analyzes variances, and resolves invoice issues
In alignment with People Services, analyzes Organizational Change Management (OCM) hurdles and devises/executes plans to overcome resistance and foster adoption of project deliverables
Delivers/coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed
Monitors, reviews, and/or appropriately escalates functional, quality, and timeline issues
Develops and executes procurement management plan in association with Procurement and the vendor management plan
Implements project and quality assurance reviews in accordance with IT guidelines to ensure profitable and successful execution
Ensures project plans and all project documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored
Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations
Participates in identifying and prioritizing opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise
Keeps track of lessons learned during the life of the project and facilitates a discussion/review at the end of project as part of closing the project out
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
Holds/attends team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
Knows, understands, and follows teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures


Skills:

Minimum of five (5) years' IT experience required including:
Minimum of three (3) years' experience managing IT projects
Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions required
Demonstrated experience in resource management and change management techniques required
Project Management Professional certification or completion of another recognized project management certification preferred
Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Project required; intermediate proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Outlook required
Healthcare industry experience preferred


Education:

Bachelor's degree in related area required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience in related area may be substituted in lieu of degree on a year-for-year basis
