Title – Sr Project Manager
Location: Kansas City MO (Downtown)

Job Descriptions:
Responsible for successful management of large scale complex projects, strategic in nature, enterprise encompassing, cross functional, cross organizational IT engagements. Preferred experience in banking, financial services, and/or financial technology companies.
- Lead cross-project meetings to determine integration and interdependence. Fosters teamwork and drives issue resolution and/or escalation. Obtain, direct, motivate and manage people; and manage the work and resources involved.
- Manage all aspects of the project from inception to implementation. Ensure that the project and all related components adhere to time, budget, and project milestones within agreed upon tolerances. Manage trade offs between scope, schedule, quality and budget. Monitor and control the progress of the project at strategic and operational level.
- Summarize project status and communicate effectively to team members, business sponsors, and senior executive management. Liaise with project sponsors, customers, vendors or partners. Adjust communication style based on participants, media, and nature of program
- Develop and fulfill project''s strategy and enable the realization of the program''s benefits. Set performance expectation for project delivery, yielding consistent results.
- Create and manage project budget and approve program expenditures. Track expected versus actual expenditures and provides budget reports to Manager of EPMO and Senior or Executive Management when required.
- Demonstrate advanced risk management techniques including active response plans for project. Prioritize project issues and then proactively drive issues to closure.
- Forecast resources across project using available tools and escalate issue and resource constraints that impact project plans
- Review contracts and statements of work from vendors and partners. Manage and deliver the required products for each project, phase, or stage of a project based on that project''s work plan. Obtain signoff from project sponsor on deliverable and project completion.
- Ensure quality is achieved as planned. Enable quality assurance and quality control as appropriate.
