Position : Sr Project Manager (Infrastructure)
Location : Reston, VA
Duration : 6+ Months

Qualification & Skills:
Responsible for the performance of large and medium sized Infrastructure projects/programs
Collaborate and work closely with Infrastructure peer teams, vendors and partners on the solution and delivery of infrastructure needs
Leverage and evangelize infrastructure platform standards with the application teams while owning technical blockers and technical project risks
Technical leadership and influence is expected of this individual. Engagement with senior leadership (VP) will occur on a regular basis
Accountable for finding and coordinating technology improvement opportunities in an effort to reduce errors into delivered builds, reducing operating expense with a heavy emphasis of increasing
delivery efficiency and reducing the time to deliver solutions
Provide input to the technical direction of a project through the design, implementation and testing in accordance with project objectives
Solid hands on implementation experience in infrastructure hosting, database, middleware, storage, Virtualization and network
Team up with technology and project teams to collect requirements, develop infrastructure design solutions and determine the associated cost and delivery timeline
Partner with Application portfolio teams to coordinate, schedule and in general provide infrastructure project management oversight for the Technology Refresh/Transformation projects
Produce status reports and conduct status meetings and facilitate issue resolution and risk management sessions with all levels of management as needed
