Title : Sr. Project Manager
Location : Denver -CO
Duration : 7 months
Expected Responsibilities: • Experience defining strategy for customers to move to the cloud • Experience moving on-premises applications to the cloud • Experience managing Disaster Recovery and High Availability computing projects • Experience with data center build and move projects • Technical architectural facilitation • Project planning and scheduling • Resource Management • Vendor Management • Budget Management • Status reports • Issues/Risks documentation and tracking • Lessons learned documentation The ideal candidate will: • Pass a criminal and financial background check. • Have an excellent professional attitude with strong interpersonal communications and presentation skills. • Have strong and proven background in developing standard project management artifacts, in executing standard PMBOK methodology, in managing client / stakeholder participation and expectations, and in multi-constituent resource allocation and management. Current professional project management certification is preferred. • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Cloud Migration, Cloud Migration Strategies and Governance, Disaster Recovery efforts and Data Centers.
Project Management with experience in application, phone and infrastructure implementations. • Experience working with vendors and contractors with implementing technology systems. • Understands technical requirements for call/data center systems and infrastructure • Understands technical requirements to support High Availability (HA) systems • Have a strong verifiable background in leading similar systems implementation efforts to a successful conclusion, on-time, on-budget, with full client satisfaction. • Have strong system analysis skills to drive business and technical requirements processes including experience with developing Change Requests and vendor management in a municipal or county government environment. • Have experience in managing vendor deliverables to contract specifications. Have the ability to strongly represent the City’s perspective to the vendor’s project manager while maintaining a positive working relationship and contract compliance. • Excellent expertise in the ability to drive tasks to completion and resolve issues and risks.
