Job Description :
Location: Sacramento, CA
Client: CalPERS
Target Start Date: January 2, 2018
Duration: 6 months
Interview Mode: Phone/ Skype

1. Must possess a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute.
2. Must have a minimum of six (6) years of broad and extensive project experience
3. Experience working on large-scale projects with multiple contributors, numerous dependencies and a high degree of change. At least three (3) years of said experience must have been directly managing large projects defined as having a budget greater than $1 million, at least 18-months in duration, and have at least 15 project staff.
4. Experience managing projects involving actuarial or financial systems and products.
5. Ability to present, communicate and convey information to audiences that are comprised of Senior Level Executives and/or Senior Management.
6. Proven knowledge of: business analysis; process improvement; relevant experience documenting the current state, business requirements and designing future state models.
7. Knowledge of CalPERS programs and processes is highly desirable
8. Must have project management experience initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and/or closing processes within the last six years.
9. Must have experience in development, production, and alternative procurement RFP documentation and procedures that includes required RFP sections, evaluation and selection plans, facilitation of vendor conferences, and contract review and evaluation.
10. Must have participated in at least two (2) or more successfully completed projects.
11. Must have experience in the management and development of business, technical, and administrative requirements for a project.
12. Must have experience in the facilitation, development, and use of capturing requirements.
