Job Title: Sr Program Manager
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Location: Sterling, VA
Position Description:
1. 10-15 years’ experience working in highly matrixed infrastructure and operations environments as a project or program manager
2. Can lead effectively without direct control, build trust through communication and delivering results
3. Project level experience coordinating systems administrators, network engineers, DBAs, code developers and product teams to deliver in fast paced/high pressure environments
4. Average understanding of network architectures, datacenter installations, physical and virtual server deployments
5. Experience with vendor management
6. Excellent writing and communication skills
7. Experience with software development lifecycle, facilitating requirements definition and facilitating design sessions
8. PMO experience a plus
9. Release management experience a plus
10. Knows how to order hardware, coordinate with global data center providers like Equinix
11. Work with/lead engineers to ship, build and configure the sites domestic and globally.
12. Likes to be overwhelmed, can multitask, has too much to do, and can solve nebulous problems, executes under pressure and not flustered by unrealistic expectations
