Position : Sr. Performance Engineer
Location : Minneapolis, MN
Duration : 6+ months Contract
Job Description:
12-15 + years of experience in Performance Architect and Engineering Domain
Strong Experience in creating performance test strategy, design, planning, work load modeling, and elicitation of non-functional requirements for testing
Strong hand-on experience in Load Runner scripting / in using HP Performance Center is mandatory. Experience with other tool like Apache JMeter is plus.
Strong hands-on experience on AppDynamics. Should have strong knowledge on Server/Database monitoring.
Strong knowledge in Java.
Have strong experience with advanced programming techniques required for code optimization and tuning.
Have hands-on experience in Performance Bottleneck Analysis (Infrastructure, Application and System level
Strong experience on JBOSS, Websphere Application Server, and Linux/UNIX/AIX.
Strong understanding of Web 2.0 technology and testing.
Good experience in providing Performance Tuning Recommendations
Hands on experience in profiling and performance monitoring.
Strong understanding of Performance test metrics concepts.
Strong understanding of Server, Network, and database concepts.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle, quality assurance life cycle and testing methodologies.
Experience in Mobile Performance Testing would be an added advantage.
Prior Customer Facing Experience is a mandatory.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills are required
Responsible for leadership of given project managing test activities on time and within budget while meeting quality objectives
Manages global testing services delivery for a particular engagement inclusive of on-shore and offshore resources.
