Position: Sr. Peoplesoft Developer
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Contract: 6+ Months

SUMMARY:

The PeopleSoft Developer is responsible for the technical analysis, development, and on-going support of our PeopleSoft Human Resource Management System. Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the various modules, including Human Resources, Base Benefits, Benefits Administration and, Payroll for North America. Seeking a motivated and self-directed individual that works well with minimal supervision but also within a team environment.



RESPONSIBILITIES:



Provide technical support on projects and system issues.

Possess a strong understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle; specifically related to PeopleSoft application development.

Provides programming expertise through the development of business systems applications from detailed specifications.

Strong troubleshooting skills including experience with identifying and resolving programmatic or system related issues.

Perform migration of PeopleSoft objects and various batch objects between various environments.

Provides developed, detailed technical design documents enhancements, interfaces, and reports.

Proficient experience required utilizing PeopleTools, Application Engines, Application Packages, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, and SQR.

Possess experience interfacing between PeopleSoft and other applications.

Possess proficiency using PeopleSoft Application Version 9.1+ and PeopleTools 8.50+ in a SQL Server database environment

Strong communication skills; ability to interact with business users, maintain a productive working relationships with other IT teams, network engineering, Windows Administration team and key systems users.

Provides technical support and assists other PS resources to troubleshoot and resolve production/development support issues for the Web, Application, Batch, File and Database servers.



REQUIREMENTS (required education, experience, knowledge, skills & abilities):

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Business Administration.

5+ years of General IT experience.

3-5+ years of PeopleTools, SQR development, Application Engine Development.

2+ years of Crystal Report enhancement and new development experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience with MS SQL Server, LDAP, Integration Broker, and Active Directory a plus.

MS Office (Word and Excel) experience, MS Outlook
