:
Position: Sr. Pega Developer
Duration: 12+ months (possible extension)
Location: Reston, VA
Interview Process- 1st phone, 2nd in-person (NO SKYPE)
Principal Accountabilities:
Pega software engineer will develop solutions in an Agile environment. Works collaboratively in the scrum team to deliver sprints on time. Working with the Pega Center of Excellence, Pega software Engineer will work with multiple delivery teams working on a variety of workforce productivity initiatives to provide consistent and performant applications that will be utilized by thousands of claims processors and customer service representatives across the country. Proactively analyzes and reviews emerging technologies, changes in the Insurance/Healthcare industry and the business functions of various clients, in order to determine if the advanced applications fit the needs of changing strategies, goals and objectives. Develops and maintains technical knowledge through training.
Required Skills:
Candidate must demonstrate solid knowledge of Health Care Claims processing.
Candidate must have deep knowledge/experience in using various requirements analysis techniques such as:
o Authoring Business and Functional Requirements Documents
o Business Process Modelling
o Business Rules Development
o Context Data Flow Diagram
o Entity Relationship Diagram
o Glossary
o Process Decomposition Diagram
o Decision Tables
o Workflow Diagramming
o Use Case Modelling
o User Stories
o Prototyping
o Translate Business Rules into Decision Table Models
o Document “AS IS” and “TO BE” processes
Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills to:
o Conduct walkthroughs with internal and external teams.
o Elicit requirements
o Produce business functional requirements documents, user interface specifications, use cases, and/or data dictionaries
Knowledge of or skills to perform data analytics, e.g., knowledge of basic SQL queries
Candidate must have knowledge of and experience in leading requirements development work
8 Years’ experience of experience is a must
