Seeking a Certified Senior Magento Lead / PHP Full Stack Developer for a key role in the launch of a new eCommerce store. This individual will be the primary POC for the client and have 3 off-shore developers as a team. Will be responsible to bring all the strengths and capabilities of Magento to the store from sign in to checkout. Will also work with 3rd party vendors at integration points. Communication skill critical in both written and spoken format.

Responsibilities:
Convert technical requirements into working software in a clear, concise and well documented fashion
Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP modules, both standalone and extensions of Magento
Development within the Magento Enterprise Ecommerce platform.
Solve complex performance and architectural challenges
Integration of multiple complex databases
Establish and follow coding standards and best practices for PHP based development
Integration of user-facing and back end elements developed internally
Collaborate and lead team based cross platform architectural and engineering projects
Continuously analyze and optimize inefficiencies in existing systems
Follow through on completed work to ensure effectiveness
Take ownership of work output

Certified Magento Developer.
8+ Years of experience with object-oriented languages: Java, C#, PHP
6+ Years of experience in e-commerce systems with focus on scalable distributed systems
6+ Years building Magento extensions and use of the admin panel.
4+ Years of experience developing complex integration between user-facing front end system and back end supporting applications
Preferred working experience coding, using and designing REST API’s
Experience in Magento 2.x
Proven discipline following coding standards and best practices for PHP based development.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including both design and functional documents
Perform a mix of new software development, enhancements and defect resolution as required
Implement project applications according to specifications
Research technical issues and provide recommendations to enhance company web sites
Work with external partners in the design and development of software solutions
Mentor junior development staff in Magento and PHP related technologies
Identify and troubleshoot issues as needed
Support research on emerging Magento software extensions, standards, and design patterns in support of development efforts
Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of Magento development best practices
Liaise with network administrators, system analysts, programmers, and business stakeholders to resolve any defects
Administer diagnostics to improve software stability and eliminate performance bottlenecks or security vulnerabilities
