Sr. PERL Lead Application Developer
Location: Boston
Duration: 24 months +
Start: Immediately
Interview: DEEP TECHNICAL INTERVIEW – 1 hour + on-line test including coding
- Our client seeks a highly technical PERL Developer with established Lead experience.
- Must have previous experience leading an offshore team to include allocating work output, handling internal and client communications, managing escalations/issues, etc.
- Very strong technical expertise in Perl programming (not scripting) is mandatory.
- Must have Object Oriented design experience and expertise in building end-to-end solutions for applications that scale

- 10+ years Perl application design and development
- Exp in Linux system administration and networking,
- Experience building and maintaining sites with high volume, high transaction, high throughput that also focuses on scalability, and extensibility along with back end applications,
- Create well-articulated plans to design, implement, test and support these apps MVC application
- Design in a Mojolicious or Dancer-like framework
- REST web services with a full Perl stack including API design
- JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, webpack, SASS and Git nginx + Plack and/or Apache + mod_perl Classic RDBMS and NoSQL experience
- Autonomous ETL services development
- Vagrant + VirtualBox or similar VM system for development
- Experience in conf management tools Docker or similar container technology
