Sr. Oracle Financials GL, SLA, Consultant
Duration: 3-6 months.
Must work onsite in a small town 35 minutes from Minneapolis MN
Note : T he Client is in a small town so consultants that want big city experience are not a cultural fit.
Project background:
Deloitte has implemented Oracle Financials in 3 Waves so far. The first Wave was in June of last year and the 2nd Wave in April of 2017. The project is in the third Wave set for go-live in Feb of 2018 for a privately held fast growing manufacturing company with operations in Canada and the US. Deloitte had a planned to phase out of the project (reduce Deloitte team size to very small) for Wave 3 which they had done. Cambria staff and some consultants from local firms to completed Wave 3.
Wave 3 phase added 9 legal entities and implemented Financials for two fabrication locations. Wave 3 had consolidations, eliminations, inter-company transactions and cash management as part of project. The first 2 Waves added 3 legal entities bringing the total to 12 after Wave 3 is complete. The Chart of accounts has 1 GL for US and 1 for Canada. Currently there are a couple of consultants from local firms on the project doing FA, AP, AR, PA, HR along with Cambria ERP staff. Their is another consultant GL account to close resource who was helping with SLA (subledger accounting) that you will be working with.
Role:
The Account to close Oracle Financials Functional Cambria lead recently left the company to pursue an expanded role. There are a number of post go-live activities/small projects that need to be implemented. Need a consultant to come in and help ensure the work is done.
Sr. Lead Oracle Financials consultant with strong GL and subledger accounting (SLA) is needed to complete the post Wave 3 go-live activities of the Oracle Financials implementation. Also assist the with Finance team to expand their use and adoption of Oracle EBS. Consultant will be working for the Controller and Director of ERP Services and ERP team. You will need to lead the Controller and Director of ERP in approaches to implement, provide options and recommend the best path.
Consultant will be setting up, configuring, regression testing Oracle EBS in the following areas:
• Consolidations
• Eliminations
• Intercompany transactions
• Subledger accounting
• Cash management
Skills Required:
• Sr. Functional Oracle Financials (GL,AP,AR,FA,PA) R12 consultant -with very strong GL
• SLA- Sub Ledger Accounting
• Consolidations, Eliminations, Intercompany transactions
• Cash Management
• Currency
• Strong leadership and consulting skills: (able to communicate well with mid-level and executive level Finance team members)
• Strong mentoring skills
• Consultant will have 10+ years of experience in Oracle Financials
• Strong regression and integration testing experience
