Role: Sr Oracle DBA
Work Location & Address: Cincinnati OH
Contract duration (in months): 12
MUST HAVE SKILLS
1. Experience on real time Oracle production environment in UNIX Linux Windows.
2. Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 10g 11g typical day to day admin on UNIX Linux environment.
3. Solid Knowledge in Oracle Performance and Tuning.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS
1. Good exposure on working Oracle RAC Real Application Cluster, ASM and Exadata 2. Handson knowledge on Performance Tuning and optimization
SKILL & RESPONSIBILITIES
Experience on real time Oracle production environment in UNIX / Linux / Windows •Strong knowledge of Oracle Database 10g/11g typical day to day admin on UNIX / Linux environment.
Solid Knowledge in Oracle Performance & Tuning.
Good Knowledge in Backup and Recovery including RMAN •Good knowledge on Data Guard - Logical & Physical Standby.
Good exposure on working Oracle RAC – Real Application Cluster , ASM & Exadata( Optional) •Hands-on knowledge on Performance Tuning & optimization ( Optional ) •ITIL framework knowledge is desirable •Good communication and interpersonal skills •To be flexible and open to work in 24x7 shifts including night shifts •Responsible for Configuration Management, Change Management, Systems Availability Monitoring, Incident and Problem Management related to End User computing.
He is also responsible for Requirement gathering, estimation and documentation.
Handle co-ordination and implementation of Merger and acquisition projects related to End user computing.
Co-ordination with Onsite and offshore team •Working closely with the management and other teams in achieving the organizational goal.
Responsible for handling network printer related tickets.
Responsible for handling Patch management, Antivirus management, Asset management.
Provide L2/L3 system administration support •Capacity planning based on growth •Project planning and documentation •Provide regular project/task status updates to the team, team lead and Manager as required.
Escalate problems as per team guidelines to Team Leader and/or manager •Provide technical support to project\account. Own and action requests for service, implementing changes and resolving assigned problems (may involve some after hours and weekend work
Provide 24x7 after hours on call support as required

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree

Minimum 8-10 years of experience and relevant experience of around 4-6yrs.
