JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing Organization of Client Medical-Surgical is seeking a senior developer with skills to design, develop, document, and support reporting, analytics, dashboards and repositories within Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE This position is responsible for working with the BI team members, business analysts, and other BI developers, subject matter experts and business stakeholders to deliver reporting and analytics solutions within the data warehouse.
Senior level contractor with ability to work independent of direction and provide leadership as well as perform work requirements within the scope of the project.
This candidate will be responsible for analysis, design, development, customizations, validations, deployment and post-implementation support for OBIEE components including Oracle BI Admin, Answers, Interactive Dashboards, BI Publisher, Scheduler, and Interactive Reporting using OBIEE 12c.
Work closely with business analysts, developers and database administrators to plan, design, develop and implement applications, scripts, procedures and metadata for relational databases.
Modify BI semantic layer using OBIEE Admin tool to build new data models and to extend the capabilities of existing models.
Develop OBIEE reports and dashboards utilizing the Industry best practices and UI standards.
Responsible for monitoring, responding and resolving ticket/issues submitted by users.
Regularly communicate one’s progress, problems and plans to leadership; adapt to changes in the project plan and customer requirements
