Job Description :
Title: Sr. Network Security SME
Duration: one year
Location: Falls Church, VA
US Citizen or Green Card Holder


Job Requirements:
Sr. Network Security Subject Matter Expert
Ability to implement continued assessment of network with full understanding of network vulnerabilities
Propose IDS/IPS Solutions for the network
Propose/implement/maintain solutions for monitoring network traffic, inspecting and scanning packets for suspicious data.
Proven expertise working on large enterprise networks
Ability to trace packets at the lowest levels including servers, clients, switches, routers…

Role Description: Lead special projects or investigations into specific technology or solution issues and to shepherd research and piloting of new technologies. Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts and has overall responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the customer''s private enclave while maintaining compliance with the customer''s enterprise-wide architecture policies and guidelines.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:
10+ years of related experience in cybersecurity and NIST standards along with 5+ years of technical writing .

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, Computer Science, Information Systems, Social Science, Education, Human Resources Development, and Psychology or other related disciplines and twelve to fifteen years of experience or Master’s degree and ten to twelve years of related experience or PhD and eight to nine years of related experience.

CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required)
CompTIA Security +
CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer or CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker
CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor
CISSP
CISSP-ISSEP
CISSP-ISSAP
CISSP-ISSMP preferred

Duties:
Provides security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management.
Validates and verifies system security requirements definitions and analysis and establishes system security designs
Designs, develops, implements and/or integrates IA and security systems and system components including those for networking, computing, and enclave environments to include those with multiple enclaves and with differing data protection/classification requirements
Builds IA into systems deployed to operational environments.

Clearance: Able to obtain a Postal Public Trust Clearance
