Responsibilities:
Expert level knowledge in Networking fundamentals and concept of Switching, Routing, IP Addressing, LAN and WAN protocols, Routing Protocols, VLAN, VPNs, Network Security.
Switching Concepts VLANS, STP, RSTP, VTP, HSRP, VSS, Trunk Encapsulation, MAC Filtering, Ether-channel, port-security.
Routing Concepts Static Routing RIP, EIGRP, BGP, Class full and Classless Routing.
Working knowledge on multicast routing.
Security Concepts NAT/PAT, ACL /Firewall Policies, VPN.
Work experience/experience in applications like ACS, Denika, WhatsUp.
Working knowledge/experience of Palo Alto, Checkpoint and Cisco ASA’s firewalls.
Working knowledge/experience of cisco 5500 Series Wireless Controller.
Working knowledge/experience of Cisco Nexus 7k, 3k, 5k and 1K.
Working knowledge/experience of Cisco switches 2960, 3750, 3850, 4500, 4500X, 6500 and 6800
Working knowledge/experience of Cisco routes 2800, 2900, 3800 and ASR 1000
Working knowledge/experience of Netscout network performance management products.
Working knowledge/experience of Riverbed WAN optimization.
Vendor Management skills.
Troubleshooting and Network Management Utilities SNMP, ICMP, SSH, Telnet, Traceroute, wireshark etc.
Troubleshooting of complex issues
Aware of ITIL practices
Good problem solving skills.
Ability to handle Team and work with Team.
Good communication, analytical, presentation and documentation skills
Willing to travel remote sites for attending issues/installation/implementation.
Good/advantage to have:
Working knowledge/experience of F5 load balancer.
Working knowledge/experience of Fortinet/Checkpoint Firewalls.
Working knowledge of Netscout network performance management products.
CCNP/CCSP/any CCIE certification.
ITIL certified.
