This position will be responsible for designing, coding and modifying cross-platform mobile applications, from layout to function according to a client''s specifications. Selected candidate will work closely with Customers and Software Architects to design solutions that satisfy both business and technical requirements while employing best practices. Must be able to travel domestically 20% of the time and be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and documents detailed mobile solution architectures.
Integrates with mobile middleware as needed
Designs, develops and integrates Restful APIs & Web Services.
Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
Publishes applications to iTunes Store and Google Play, as appropriate.
Provides technical consultation and estimates in response to customer inquiries for product enhancements, new product development and external projects.
Provides guidance on mobile best practices and policies.
Promote knowledge and skills of mobile development to other developers in the delivery center.
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
5+ year’s mobile development experience.
Practical experience and solid understanding of:
o Mobile technologies, frameworks and cross-platform mobile applications with Xamarin
o Solid .NET framework development experience (C#, XAML)
o RESTful APIs, preferably ASP.NET Web API
o iOS and Android SDKs
o Java, Objective-C and platform specific development environments, such as Eclipse and XCode.
o Third-party libraries and APIs common to mobile development
o Mobile-friendly relational database technologies, preferably SQLite
o Designing and developing intuitive user-interfaces
o Building prototypes for research and early testing
o Object-oriented design and analysis
o Best practices for UX/UI design
o Multi-tier software design and development
o TFS (Team Foundation Server)
o Enterprise design patterns
o Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies, both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
o Microsoft Office, especially Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
o Organization & Attention to Detail, Analytical Thinker, Team focused, Self-motivated and directed, Problem Solver and be able to apply Technical Expertise as well as be a Mentor to others.
