Sr. Middle Tier Java Engineer (w/ WSO2)
Location: Durham, NC
Duration: 12+ Months
Rate: Rate $55-60 on W2
Required Experience/Skills:
A proactive problem solver with the ability to work with minimum supervision when given a goal.
Strong understanding of Distributed Technology with a minimum of 6 years java development experience.
Strong experience with TIBCO or MQ Series
Strong working knowledge with relational databases preferably Oracle.
Knowledge in J2EE, EJB, JSP, XML, DHTML, JMS, SOAP, Web Services.
Job Description:
Experience in building and managing applications using Object-oriented design and Java/J2EE Web development, using MVC design patterns, Spring Suites, JAX-WS/REST methodologies, Maven, and jQuery to support brokerage trading projects.
Experience in managing applications using source code management and continuous deployment tools (git stash, Jenkins, uDeploy, Fortify, and Sonar) to support brokerage trading projects.
Experience in developing RESTful Web services using JSON and XML formats, unit testing techniques, and WSO2.
The position will encompass a range of tasks within a development team and will be responsible for design, development and testing of highly scalable Java based components that work independently and/or that leverage MQ Series/TIBCO technology to provide middleware services.
Desired Experience/Skills:
FIX Messaging Protocol a plus
Experience with Fixed Income, Trading Systems or Investment Banking
