Sr. MS Exchange Administrator III

Need a Senior profile with more than 10yrs of exp:(prefer W2), need DL copy, Work Authorization copy and two professional references.

Technical skills:

· Responsible for planning, testing, tuning, configuration and setup of Microsoft Exchange architecture as well as
supporting common email applications (Outlook, Entourage, PDA based email

· Managing and supporting Lync 2013 Environment involving Administration, configuration, Troubleshooting,
Clustering, interacting with other helpdesk team to resolve these issues, Patching

· Managing, Supporting & Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 environment,

· Strong understanding of MS Exchange enterprise environment in Backup

· Monitor and maintain Windows Exchange infrastructure Active Directory, ActiveSync, BlackBerry, DNS, syslog

· Knowledge on scripting is must for designing and modifying the current scripts in the environment

· Administration and configuration of Symantec Mail Server

· Strong knowledge on IronPort administration and troubleshooting

· MCSE, MCSA, or MCP certifications preferred

Responsibilities:

Primary Skills

· Install, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, administer, manage users and upgrade Microsoft Exchange 2010, Lync 2013 including Exchange mail stores & other enterprise applications and systems as assigned.

· Install, secure, maintain, administer, manage Symantec Mail Server and troubleshoot policies, monitoring and
mail queue

· Install, secure, maintain, administer, manage IronPort appliance and troubleshoot policies, mail queue, TLS and
other rules

· Exchange mail stores & other enterprise applications and systems as assigned.

· Using their strong understanding of MS Exchange in an enterprise environment to perform backup and restore
procedures, front end / back end setups, message flow and security & Participate in developing and maintaining backup
and recovery procedures and processes

· Using script knowledge to troubleshoot the backup status, Mirror status & DAG Failure

· Managing and maintain the current Script server for exchange and lync health monitoring

· Managing global configuration for Exchange & Ability to resolve Exchange related issues using Active Directory

· Maintain & Manage with implementation and management of unified messaging role in Exchange, Ability to
create, replicate and assign rights of Public Folder(s)

· Troubleshooting day-to-day Outlook issues; Administration of mailboxes and Users account, server Issues &
Root Cause Analysis

· Managing product lifecycles to maintain vendor support, maintenance contracts and software licensing
compliance as well as needed updates / upgrades & Exchange server migrations

· Developing and maintaining security standards relating to messaging systems and services

· Experience with messaging and directory services technologies, including: LDAP (Active Directory), DHCP,
DNS, SMTP, Internet domain records, group policy management

· Experience supporting anti-spam products & Administration and configuration of Enterprise Vault Servers & DAG Management

· Experience in ability to maintain and troubleshoot Blackberry Enterprise Server & Other MDM products

· Experience in PowerShell scripting, Cluster failover (Physical & Virtual) & Microsoft Lync

· Knowledge on Exchange Journaling and Active Sync is required

· Manage, Maintain and administration of IronPort Security Appliance, Troubleshooting of rules, Mail queue

Secondary Skills

· Maintain a Change Management log for changes made in the production environment

· Assist other System Administrators as needed.

· Resolve Help Desk tickets as assigned

· The Systems Administrator employee will also complete other duties as assigned by the Director of ITS
Enterprise Information Systems.

· Provide on-call support for the messaging environment

· Participate in weekend maintenance activities (such as mailbox moves, server reboots, patching, change
management activities), as required

· Provide tier 1 and 2 troubleshooting support of Exchange issues; investigate user escalation calls, finding
optimum solutions for both users and the company

Desired Experience

· Excellent communication and verbal skills.

· Experience in handling customer and severity cases.

· Maintains the confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of messaging systems

· Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic, high-pressure, fast-paced environment

· Good understanding of Incident and Request Management (ITIL-Framework) is plus
