Position- Sr. Linux System Admin
Location- Irvine, CA
Duration- 12+ months

Must Have Good Communication

Responsibilities:
Automation of the monitoring, administration, and management of web and application servers
Cloud technology automation and configuration
Network and security configuration and monitoring
Virtualization
LAMP stack configuration and DNS delegation & management
CMS setup and troubleshooting
Skills/Requirements:
8+ years working at an administrative level with Linux to include tuning, upgrading, monitoring and patching
Experience with Nagios, DataDog, Puppet and Apache/nginx
Experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL
Able to write scripts and automation (Chef, RightScale, RightScripts, Bash, Perl, Ruby and PHP)
Hands on experience with AWS or Rackspace services
In-depth knowledge of network protocols
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent technical problem-solving skills
Excellent customer support skills
Experience in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in a NOC or large-scale, enterprise computing environment
Certifications desired: RHCT or RHCE, ITIL
