About the opportunity:
Put your eCommerce skill set to work by helping to execute business
requirements into specific systems, applications, or processes in
business-to-consumer (B2C) environments.
As the Sterling Technical Lead, you will help lead a team to identify
functional requirements and, ultimately, plan and implement eCommerce
solutions. You will design and develop J2EE-based eCommerce systems,
contribute to the overall design and architecture of web applications, and
analyze as well as diagnose any issues that could adversely impact any
functional capabilities of eCommerce applications.
You will also ensure that the organization''s implementations meet the
scalability and reliability required for eCommerce operation, as well as
analyze and optimize database and core commerce functions for maximum
performance.
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or similar (required)
10+ yrs of development experience with strong emphasis on Sterling
Order Management System (OMS), with 7+ yrs of experience as a Sterling OMS
Developer and
3+ yrs hands-on experience in Java
2+ yrs experience as Lead/Design
Experience implementing, customizing, testing and integrating
eCommerce sites
Strong knowledge on major Sterling modules including call center,
process modeling, order management, payment systems, inventory management
Ability to work in a fast-paced, technical environment with
minimal instruction
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
