Tesla is seeking a highly talented and versatile Sr. Software Engineer with a strong understanding of service oriented architectures, object oriented programming and SaaS systems. You will develop new features (and improve upon old ones) on a cloud based infrastructure using modern development stacks in an agile work culture. You''ll work on some of the most interesting projects in the industry, with the big picture goal of replacing fossil fuel energy.

Responsibilities
Design, implement and deploy financial services solutions to internal finance, customer care teams as well as end-customers.
Work with multiple business stakeholders to develop solutions against roadmap
Work on building technical design, integration design and solution options
Work closely with business teams to understand business requirements and desired functionality
Partner with internal engineering teams, third party vendors to develop consistent solutions Drive other projects as required or as business needs change
Qualifications
5+ years of enterprise software engineering experience required
Experience with finance and financial systems preferred
B.S. in computer science or related major required or equivalent experience
Python and Django experience required
Web/mobile development experience HTML, JavaScript, CSS required
Must have experience integrating with multiple internal and external systems
Knowledge of SOA/REST based service development
Experience developing and deploying microservice-based applications (Kubernetes, Docker, etc
Experience with Mulesoft is a plus
Strong knowledge of databases and data models
Experience developing in an Agile workflow
Knowledge of and experience working with standard MVC frameworks
Must have proficiency developing cloud-deployed software (AWS, etc
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Must demonstrate a team-based orientation
Ability to work in an aggressive, fast paced environment managing multiple priorities
Passion to learn new technologies and develop new solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
