Job Description :
Title: Sr. Java developer or Architect with healthcare
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 6+ Months Contract to hire
Interview: Phone and In person ( Must be Local)

Job Description

MUST have at least 2 years in a healthcare domain.

Understand and evolve use cases used to create three existing service specifications
Develop and understand use cases for developing a new Task Management service
Contribute to the thought processes in developing a new Task Management service
Contribute original expertise and insight while participating in discussions to develop HL7 service standards
Meet regularly several times a week to brainstorm, negotiate and argue about some highly technical/clinical topics
Develop UML diagrams to set stage for work going into DSTU effort

12 total year of experience with 5 of those years with healthcare domain experience
Thorough understanding of design patterns and ability to apply them in the appropriate contexts
Experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
Experience in different SDL methodologies and especially Scrum development methodology
Experience working with build software tools (i.e. Jenkins, Gerrit, Maven, etc, source control tools (i.e. Git, TFS, SourceSafe) and ticketing systems (i.e. Rally, Jira)
Experience using an IDE such as Eclipse or Netbeans
Experience working w/ modeling tools (i.e. Enterprise Architect)
Experience with Agile and TDD practices
Excellent written, oral and analytical competency
Demonstrated working knowledge of:
Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), REST and SOAP
XML and XML-related technologies (e.g. xPath, Saxon, JAXB, etc…)
SQL/JDBC
Unit testing frameworks including JUnit, EasyMock, Mockito
JSON/P, JavaScript
