Job Description :
Title: Sr. Java Developer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 3 to 6 months+ extensions
Start Date: ASAP
Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or Engineering with relevant industry experience
Experience /Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years of Java design and development of web based application
- Experience in Object-oriented programming
- Java, J2EE, Struts, Server Side development, Struts, MVC framework), Service Oriented Architecture and Database designs
- Ability to develop program that meet the customer needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, schedule, principles and recognized industry standards
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize based on project needs
- Excellent written and verbal communications
- Relational database experience and demonstrated abilities in SQL and data modeling is required
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
Desired Skills/Certifications
- Experience in developing multi-tiered e-Commerce experience
- WebObjects, SOLR/Lucene,
- Development of portal based applications using JSF
