Description :
Seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with Angular background who is passionate about building dynamic web applications.
This candidate will have strong technical skills and agile mindset to join our fast-paced and new digital experience team.
The candidate will help support our key initiatives, long term business backlog of features, as well as help evolve the architecture for our Online Account Center website. This is a very exciting time and your work within the digital experience team will directly contribute to help improve the customer experience and satisfaction for our 30+ million subscribers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Show enthusiasm and a sense of ownership for the system and its components that are vital to the success of the business.
Build and implement reusable and efficient front-end systems that drive complex web applications.
Collaborate with UX designers, product managers, and software engineers to deliver compelling user-facing products.
Contribute to Java and Angular architecture, helping establish best practices.
Follow high-level of standards across all levels of design and development work.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree or equivalent, relevant experience.
7 - 10 years of practical IT experience.
Requirements and General Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a high-performance, dynamic environment.
Ability to project professionalism over the phone and in person.
Commitment to "internal client " and customer service principles.
Analyzing and refactoring existing code base to address new requirements.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills:
Java and Angular development.
Expert level Core Java experience.
Sound experience with REST APIs preferred.
Full Stack experience a plus.
Expertise in HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript, responsive design principles.
Expertise in AngularJS1.x or Angular 2+ development (utilizing Typescript and Angular CLI
Experience converting AngularJS (1.0) apps to Angular (2+) a plus.
Experience unit testing with JavaScript frameworks such as Karma or Jasmine.
Experience working in a Continuous Integration and Delivery environment.
Knowledge of web security standards and how to apply them.
Experience using Git source control.
Experience with large scale, high volume web-based applications preferred.
Experience with internationalization preferred.
