Job Description
Strong understanding of Open API / Swagger spec, design and development of REST, SOAP services with a deep understanding of the full web technology stack (e.g. HTTP, cookies, headers, asset loading / caching)
Good exposure to Apigee Edge Cloud and on-prem solution and its internals. Individual will build and manage integration using Apigee Edge.
Should be hands-on in creating proxy & policies in Apigee Edge for securing, validating and routing API''s. Has exposure in creating micro services using open source toolsets.
Understanding of various components in Apigee like Analytics, Monetization.
Strong understanding of API development lifecycle
10 to 12 years of experience with Enterprise Java development in the areas of requirements analysis, software design, development, testing, and deployment.
At least 2+ years of experience developing APIs in Apigee
4+ years of experience using DevOps tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Maven (scope: automate the development & deployment of Apigee APIs)
Experienced using API dev tools like IntelliJ/Eclipse, Postman, git, Cucumber
2+ years of experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
Apigee & Java certifications preferred
