Position Summary:
The Sr. Java Developer on the Digital Experience team will be responsible for design, development, and maintenance of Adobe Experience Manager Digital Asset Management system implementation for our client. In addition to Digital Asset Management System, the Sr. Developer will also be responsible for maintenance of applications and functionality that power our customer-facing digital experience. Applications include clients website, OAC and Mobile OAC etc. The Sr. Developer will have active participation following the day-to-day needs of the full-SDLC development teams and will ensure adherence to standards, quality, and on-time delivery of the respective project/deliverables with strong knowledge of front-end web development technologies and concepts.
The Developer is expected to work closely with the architecture team to ensure adherence with best practices, privacy and PCI compliance, proper use of existing technologies, and adoption of emerging technologies as part of the development of new solutions.
The DE team is being structured to support a rapid, iterative approach to development and the Sr. Developer is expected to play an active role in the success of this organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Setup and configure Authoring and Publishing environments, replication agents and Expertise in developing integrated business applications.
Design and implementation of modules on AEM 6.3
Demonstrate strong design and implementation skills pertaining to web applications, rich media applications and Service oriented architecture with Object Oriented Programming concepts and design.
Apply knowledge of industry-standard application architectures, design patterns and technology standards and best practices.
Experience in designing and developing highly scalable and maintainable web applications.
Able to communicate clearly and effectively with producers, developers and creative team members.
Ability to work well with the team in a rapid, iterative approach to development.
Show enthusiasm and a sense of ownership for the system and its components that are vital to the success of the business.
Model system behaviors using best practice methods for communicating architecture and design.
Interpret business requirements and accurately reflect these requirements in the design. Be able to work with requirements in various forms including BRD/FRD, user-stories, annotated wireframes, working prototypes etc.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of assignments.

Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent, relevant experience.
5+ years of practical experience
Proven expertise in Adobe AEM and Adobess Assets technologies

Technical Skills:
5 + years in Core Java, JSP, Spring, Apache Sling J2EE
5 + years in JavaScript/AJAX
5 + years in REST services
3 + years in Adobe Experience Manager Digital Asset Management (AEM 6.3)
3 + years in content management system (Web Center Sites a plus)
3 + years in Oracle DB.
3 + years in HTML5 / CSS3
Experience with version control systems such as SVN, Git
Experience with build frameworks such as Maven, Artifactory.
Apache web servers (experience with Rewrite Rules a plus)
Familiarity with CDNs such as Akamai
Experience with operating systems like Unix.
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access
