Title: Sr. JBoss EAP Developer
CTC Rate: $65/hr C2C.
Duration: 6+ Months
Austin/Texas.
Prefer candidates who are local.
Interview Process: Phone if local and then in-person. If national, phone
and then Skype. Could make decision off of one interview.
Client open to national and candidate coming in from out of the area. Will
not pay for relation fees and candidate must be willing to be onsite for
the 6 month duration, no remote.
*Day to Day duties:* There is a lot of work to be done on the middleware of
one of their applications (BK app) to migrate pieces of that application.
JBoss seems to be problematic and the client needs help to stabilize
existing platform and migration. Candidate needs to be available and able
to participate in the software releases to that platform. These happen like
twice a month at 10p CST for 1-2 hours long. These would be for the live
production
*Duties:* We have an immediate need for a 6-month contractor who
specializes in JBoss EAL or is very experienced in JBoss EAP. Candidate
does not need to have EAP experience but that is a HIGH preference. The
candidate does need to have extensive JBoss experience and experience
administering JBoss in a clustering environment this is a production
environment, so experience with JBoss in a production environment is
necessary. Client is in Linux environment so candidate should have
experience with Puppet ideally or some sort of networking automaton
configuration tools like, Chef, Puppet, SALT etc. Client is controlling
JBoss with Puppet, which is why candidate ideally should know Puppet.
*Skillsets: MUST*
6+ years of extensive JBoss experience
Experience administering JBoss in a clustering environment & in Production
Environment
Experience with Networking Automation Configuration Tools like Puppet
