Position : Sr. IT Project Manager
Location : Farmington Hills, MI
Duration : 6+ months Contract

Job Description:

7+ years of experience in managing data center operations
Managing data center service provider for data center operations
Oversee the delivery of services and support of data center service provider, including day-to-day operations oversight and management of the data center operation.
Manage vendor relations ensuring optimal service delivery and cost efficiency.
Oversee all data center service requests and incidents and problem handling acting as escalation point for all service requests and incidents.
Lead issue/problem root cause analysis and communicate appropriately to internal and external customers.
Facilitate assessment of operation / service incidents and develop strategies for service improvement.
Monitor and manage service incident ticket queue.
Provide regular data and reporting of service level performance and KPIs to IT management and other key stakeholders.
Assist MBFS in developing and establishing IT Operations / Infrastructure service level targets and KPIs.
Attend weekly incident/ RCA reviews, change approvals and demand review meetings with data center service provider and infrastructure teams
Manage SLAs and performance of data center service provider
Manage all system recovery processes including cross-functional collaboration across teams during major incidents, ensuring optimization of recovery services and minimization of related business / service level impacts.
Manage and lead process for communicating outage/emergency activities to the organization.
Plan and manage technology upgrades and other infrastructure build out deliverables of data center service provider for new business demands
Work with multiple data center operations and IT infrastructure teams to ensure scope, cost, risk and timelines are effectively managed and project goals are met.
Provide technical and leadership in optimizing the overall data center operation and IT Infrastructure delivery across the envisioned multiple service delivery teams and service provider organizations.

Minimum 7 Year’s Experience Required:
PMP Certification Required
Proven expertise in: Large scale (enterprise) Project Management utilizing industry recognized PM methods and tools, such as the PMBOK from the PMI.

Proven Skills: Team and personnel leadership; Lead team of PM and Management professionals on large scale, enterprise wide projects.

Experience in the following areas:
Experience in managing large scale, highly complex, long-term projects recently
Project management methodology based on the PMBOK 9 knowledge areas
MS Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project
Project Management tool
Cost estimation techniques and business case preparation
Financial services/captive auto finance industry experience
Strong understanding of System Development LifeCycle (SDLC) & IT application development process
