Role – IT Project Manager
Location – Quincy, MA
Duration – 12+ months
Interview Mode : F2F (Need Local Candidates)
Job Responsibility:
Create and maintain project plans
Manage all documentation
Develop and maintain schedules of project tasks and timelines to ensure the team members and business sponsors are informed on ongoing efforts
Conduct team meetings with development and BA staff to address any technical and business concerns
Oversee matrixed development and business analyst staff to provide guidance and accurate estimated timelines for technical efforts
Lead process of issue identification and resolution
Work with business sponsors to team to determine best technical approach to address business need
Consistently meet with agency leads, technical and business leads to determine best practice for application development
Manage risk tracking process
Monitor and manage scope
Foster partnership with customers/stakeholders/sponsors
Necessary Experience and Qualifications to be successful:
Created technical diagrams and flow charts
Developed detailed project plans
Developed mockup for demonstrating approach to solutions
Developed technical presentations to be used in educating a technical team on system design
Presented to a wide range audience clearly, with all levels of management as well non-technical users
Excellent communication skills and able to express thoughts clearly, and develop ideas in logical sequence
Proficient in using charts, graphs and tables when presenting information
Work collaboratively with team members as well as manage and sustain multiple complex relationships and ensure that the lines of communication are always open
Comfortable working under pressure and able to meet unanticipated demands
Ability to gather information by analyzing data
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/work experience
PMP certification is a plus
5+ years of experience in project management
