Position : Sr. HANA Data modeller
Location : Glen Mills, PA
Duration : 6 months
Job Summary
To analyze, design, create HANA data models to support various reporting requirements. The resource will take an active role in requirements gathering and reviewing the high level business requirements converting them into Functional and Technical Specifications. This resource will be a self-starter who will lead the implementation of consolidated reporting requirements from multiple data sources. The resource will provide guidance on best practices and provide knowledge transfer to other team members for ongoing support.

Position requires expertise with SAP HANA. Experience with Native HANA Modeling is a must. Experience with using Tableau is preferred. Experience working with Business Suite on HANA is a definite plus as is experience in extending standard models. Expertise in HANA view optimization and performance techniques. Expertise in HANA security, data restrictions using Analytic privilege. Experience working with HANA Modeling Artifacts like - Attribute Views, Analytics, Calculated Views (Graphical and Script), stored Procedures and Functions required. Experience working with Data Services, Smart Data Access (Data Virtualization) in HANA is a plus. Functional knowledge in SAP modules like HCM is a plus.
Responsibilities
1. Participates in designing and creating HANA data models to support consolidated reporting requirements. Resource will lead requirement and design sessions and will be involved with, debugging, unit testing, building configuring, and deploying reports. Lead data analysis, modeling, and extraction of data from multiple sources. Design and develop dashboard reports.

2. Analyzes required functionality and implements customizations to platforms or develops custom solutions to fulfill business requirements.
3. Collaborates with team members to understand business requirements and create clear, technical specifications outlining the specific enhancement or functionality required. Supplies estimations, status updates, and escalations to ensure timely delivery of solutions.
4.Develops and maintains testing scenarios and prepares necessary test data for thorough unit and integration testing results. Maintains source control, version control, and defect tracking systems.
5. Prepares and maintains technical documentation.
6.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Required Technical Skills
Intermediate MS Office
Strong background in SAP HANA data modeling, preferred experience with SAP modules like HCM
Perform the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation for reporting projects and tasks analyze business and SAP functional requirements and develop program specifications
Develop, implement, maintain, and document standards and guidelines for SAP HANA models and Interfaces
Required Licenses, Certifications, and Other Requirements

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field
3+ years of experience with HANA
