Role: Sr. Game Developer- C# & Unity 3D
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6 month+ contract
USC or GC Only.
The Game Developer develops and implements the game using our internal gaming platform using C#/.Net framework. The person is responsible for design, architecture and maintenance of the game platform and development of new games and features. This position will be reporting directly to VP of Engineering.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Designs, Develops and Integrates new games and features leveraging the C#/.Net and Unity game platform.
Maintains and Improves the Unity game platform and architecture – by adding and integrating new features to support new game concepts and initiatives.
Maintains quality of the game platform by fixing critical issues in the Game platform and the Unity games.
Assists other team members with game design, architecture and platform integration.
Takes initiative to identify new game concepts and ideas – and deliver innovative game technology to be at par or ahead of the competition.
Experience & Skills required:
Proven success in design, development and implementation of slot games in a C# / .Net environment.
Minimum five years of experience in C# programming and .Net framework with API programming.
Proven experience in designing and architecture of game platforms – specifically in Unity.
Ability to innovate and develop new game concepts and technology integration.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
Broad knowledge of slot machine and platform integration.
Experience in a casino gaming industry preferred.
Function independently in order to accomplish assigned projects. Tasks are received in the form of results expected. Refer unusual problems to supervisor.
Credible leader visibility by peers, and must be able to guide the game developers to deliver on new games and game platform improvements.
Clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message. An individual with excellent interpersonal skills and influencing ability who can win the confidence of individuals at all levels, and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Work effectively in a collaborative environment and foster teamwork across all levels of the organization.
Have a background in Unity 3D, successful C#/.Net, Version control(SVN), and API programming related to casino gaming.
Possess strong analytical and process management skills and have a broad understanding of the casino industry
