Looking for a Sr Frontend developer with good leadership experience and/or potential who could grow into the overall leader of our FED team.
Project Background:
Design and implementation of a single page web application as the front end to a sophisticated Portfolio Accounting and Investment Performance system. Initial goal of the web app is to serve as a decision support tool for CIOs (Chief Investment Officers) and their teams. The web app must deal with complex portfolio accounting data, create complex visualizations, create and manage grids of data, easily navigate data relationships / supporting documents and offer great performance. Management of events, notifications and support of workflows are also planned capabilities. The Product team is operating as a startup team within our C&IS business.
Technical requirements:
Successful track record designing and implementing HTML5 Single Page Applications
* Javascript developer working with React
* Working knowledge of React component lifecycle & best practices
* Experience with Redux workflow
* Familiarity with REST APIs & services
* Able to optimize components for use across devices
* Bonus points for GraphQL experience
* Experience with Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
* Experience working with data heavy applications
* Ability to optimize & benchmark FE experience to meet business requirements
* Familiarity with GIT & JIRA
* Comfortable working with server side architects to define flow & structure of data
* Experience managing a team of developers
