eDataForce Consulting LLC; is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst in the Orlando, FL area.
This Technology Financial Analyst will support, manage and track the project financials for the Project Delta project. This is a critical initiative to implement new ticket services for the sites. The senior technology Financial Analyst will partner with multiple technology, digital and finance partners that are dispersed across the domestic US.
This Financial Analyst will be responsible for on-going management of complex project financials and will have frequent interactions/engagement with technology and finance leadership.
The Financial Analyst must have proven senior level Technology Financial Analyst experience managing detailed project financials during the project life cycle in order to be successful in this role.
5 to 8 years of experience or more managing technology progand project controls (e.g. cost, schedule, performance), Financial Analysis etc., during the project life cycle.
Must have proven experience coordinating, tracking and reporting technology project financials across multiple teams including:
establishing, maintaining and tracking project budgets, and overall cost control
establishing resource plans and translating resource plans into financial forecasts
preparing detailed monthly project forecasts, managing project forecast processes and conducting project review meetings
presenting financials to leadership
Proactively identifies issues (data or process) and ensures that appropriate action is taken to resolve issues and communications are sent to keep the end user audiences informed and updated
Demonstrated ability to build credibility with internal clients and to navigate organizational structures
Demonstrated ability to understand and adapt to different audiences and clients
Must have strong partnering, influencing, and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, listening, and communication; high attention to detail; demonstrated ability to influence partners and key business decisions
Must have the ability to self-manage objectives, improve processes, handle multiple priorities, and perform job responsibilities accurately while working in a fast-paced work environment
Must have moderate to advanced SAP experience, pulling reports, exporting data/actuals etc.
Relevant T Codes: CJI3, CN43N, ME23N, KSB1, or any experience pulling cost data.
Must have advanced level MS Excel skills with the ability to design complex models and reports.
Specific: VLookup, Pivot Table, Modelling/Report Building, Sum IFs, IF formulas, HLookUp, Handling large data sets, etc.
Must have proven experience managing multiple project financials, priorities and tasks across multiple projects and teams – while adhering to deadlines and high quality
Must have prior experience with accruals, purchase orders, statement of works etc.
Must have working knowledge of project accounting and GAAP principles
Must understand general ledger, journal entries etc.
Must understand different contract types.
General knowledge of capital and expense funding types.
Must understand of the overall project execution process, including budgeting, project forecasting, cost control, schedule, anticipated cost etc.
Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical skills required, experience with budgets and financial analysis preferred
Must be detail oriented and ability to prioritize work and multitask effectively
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, active listening) required
Must be flexible and love working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple deadlines
Independent worker with “entrepreneur” type attitude. Building your own work portfolio sort of.
Develop and maintain positive professional relationships both internally and externally
Must be a change agent which includes:
Leading change by example
Identifying opportunities to overcome cultural resistance to change
Collaborating and engaging teams and leaders to promote change in our organization
Looking to identify solutions for problems that surface
Partner with clients to understand pain points and champion process improvements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Information Technology or related discipline. MBA a plus
Finance and Accounting but other technology backgrounds do not hurt. The main thing is we need financial mind set to handle the day to day activities and types of challenges we face.
