As a Sr. Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) Architect, you will play a key role in delivering on our strategic commitments for Business Systems. The EBS team is responsible for a variety of impactful, highly strategic work. In this role, you will partner with our business units and leaders, serving as a strategic thought partner in helping them to tackle their highest priorities to improve and innovate enterprise business systems comprising ofMobile applications, Human Resources, SharePoint, Supply Chain, Finance, Payroll, Costing, Kronos and other ancillary business systems.
Job Function:
Lead strategic technological planning to achieve company goals, provide an architecture that meets the Company''s business needs and will provide the most efficient and secure IT environment
Apply Oracle ERP maintenance patches and fixes through systems using a structured methodology
Participate in the implementation of PeopleSoft ERP system upgrades and installations
Participate in the creation and evolution of a technology road map that defines current and future technical architecture
Partner with the Infrastructure, Network, Server, Enterprise Architect as well as other IT teams, for applications support, maintenance and project execution efforts
Serves as subject-matter expert who can easily liaise between IT and other departments
Provide technical expertise in the areas of commercial software, custom software, system integration, application architecture, data strategies, interoperability, and compatibility across multiple platforms within the business systems application eco-system
Build and support solutions for effective usage and management of an enterprise computing environment through the evaluation, configuration, documentation and maintenance of computer applications, utilities, interfaces, databases and operating system software
Works collaboratively with outside vendors
Skills required:
8+ years’ business systems architecture, maintenance, production support, implementations and upgrade experience
Bachelor’s degree required
Experience installing and configuring PeopleSoft environments (Internet Architecture, WebLogic, Tuxedo, and application servers, batch servers)
Exceptional skills in business system architecture, system administration and configuration
Strong technical, analytical, and business knowledge. Excellent technical understanding of underlying relevant technical architecture and business processes
Ability to create accurate and clear technical architectural and process documentation, develop support processes and procedures
Experience in coordinating technology designs with architectural requirements and constraint
Knowledge of networking, data center infrastructure, servers, storage, virtualization, SSL certificates, SSO and security firewall functionality
Exceptional problem-solving, business judgment, and analytical skills
Proven ability to efficiently utilize resources and communicate with others, both verbally and in writing
Strong project management skills, proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to make independent decisions
Ability to work on multiple projects at one time
Nice to have experience with SharePoint, Kronos and EPSI applications
