The Sr. ETL/Informatica Developer is responsible for the requirement analysis, design, development, architecture, implementation and support of enterprise-wide ETL Operations. This individual works closely with application developers and project managers in creating functional and scalable applications from design and development through implementation. This position requires expert knowledge in database (Oracle) design, tuning, modeling methods in multiple computing environments (UNIX, Linux, AIX) and must be well versed in Oracle ML/PL/SQL programming.
This position, must also ensure that documentation is created for system designs and modifications, and assist collaboratively in following the established software development life cycle procedures to develop, test and modify system software, utilities; support integrations with other applications by coding, reviewing, mapping various data sources, testing and debugging, in order to ensure that the developed software is robust and meets user functional and performance requirements.
It is preferable to have experience and understanding of Managed Health-care Information systems, subsystems and applications, but is not required.
Must acquire and enhance technological expertise by becoming current with evolving systems programming, analysis and database/ETL technology.
Must develop, foster and maintain an open, professional relationship with other team members within IT and also with other departments to enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Perform in a distributed environment, the modifications and operations for Complex Informatica (9.x & 10) ETL operations from various sources like Oracle database (12c), and SQL Server (2000) environments.
Must be really good in Oracle PLSQL coding, SQL Server T-SQL and writing SQL queries in both RDBMS.
Prepare short and long term plans to address infrastructure projects as well as support to and technical leadership for internally/externally sponsored company projects. Successful resolution of production issues; maintain successful relationships with application developers.
Ensure complete technical documentation exists for all projects and processes.
Evaluate and seek solutions to production issues as well as new projects.
Work closely with application developers in solving production issues, for successful resolution of production issues;
Perform other duties as assigned
