ROLE: Sr .Net Developer
Location: Mechanicsburg PA
DEVELOPER DESCRIPTION: As a software developer, you will participate in all aspects of the development life cycle while working with an extensive team of analysts, developers and testers to deliver software projects that meet or exceed client expectations and are completed according to schedule.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- 7+ years of software development experience in .NET 4.5, and MVC.
- 5+ years of experience developing front-end solutions for web applications
- 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS (Less and Bootstrap) and JQuery.
- 2+ years of development experience in AngularJS or similar JavaScript frameworks (JQuery UI, Node.js, knockout.js, React.js
- Experience in presentation/middle tier technologies (ASP.NET MVC, C#, etc.
- Great visual design skills, demonstrating a pixel perfect eye for detail.
- Solid experience developing/implementing animations using CSS, SVG, and HTML5.
- Strong client-side and presentation tier unit testing skills.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Good knowledge in the areas of UI design and UX best practices.
- Experience in both back-end and front-end technologies, and familiarity with each layer of the software stack.
- Experience with Microsoft development using Visual Studio, .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, MVC5, Razor, SQL Server, Entity Framework, PowerShell Scripting
- Experience with web oriented user experience concepts and technologies: HTML, JQuery, AJAX, REST APIs.
- Understanding of distributed development and object-oriented programming techniques.
- Knowledge of development in an Agile or Scrum environment as an active team member.
- Previous professional history working with robust source control tools and software development processes such as TFS.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Experience in .NET Core will be a plus
