Job Description:
The Department of the State Treasurer is seeking a candidate to perform technical and analytical work architecting, developing, testing, and otherwise supporting SLG in multiple automation projects. The candidate will serve as part of a 3-person development team overall.

Development duties include:
*Business process automation analysis
*System architecture with an eye towards moving applications to Azure when applicable
*System design
*System development
*Test plan development and execution
*System automation and integration with Microsoft (MS) .NET languages and technologies
*Coordination with business analysts on implementing business requirements and use cases developed

The SLG handles the sale and delivery of all State and local debt and monitors the repayment of State and local government debt. Staff counsel and assist local governments in determining the feasibility of projects, the size of the financing and the most expedient form of financing. The SLG is in need of automating many manual processes. These applications need to be either written initially in Azure or constructed in a manner in which it can be moved to an azure environment easily. The applications will need a responsive UI design as well as a self-service portal.
The candidate is required to be proficient with MS Visual Studio 2015, MS SQL Server 2016, ASP.NET MVC 5, Entity Framework 5/6, CNET, VB.NET, LINQ, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, JQuery, WCF, Web API, Unit Testing Framework. Additional skills in Azure Web Apps, DevOps , App Service, Cloud Storage, Container Services are desired.
The candidate is required to have the ability to interact and serve as a technical resource to technicians and analysts. The candidate is required to possess a high technical knowledge level of applications systems analysis and programming and must understand detailed technical issues to design architecture for stable technologies and provide direction for technicians and other analysts.

The candidate is required to interact with and serve as a key resource in solving problems of high complexity to other analysts and technicians. The candidate is required to possess the ability to recommend methods of resolving problems to lower level analysts or client representatives.

The candidate is required to consult with clients on issues and requests that require the implementation or creation of a custom solution. The candidate is required to plan and work on shared or joint projects and coordinate with others to achieve agreed upon outcomes.

The candidate is required to establish a positive relationship by demonstrating ownership of customer issues and solicit and select appropriate information and best method or format for delivering or receiving it either in writing or verbally.
