Position: Sr. DevOps Engineer
Location: Greenwood Village, CO
Job Type: - Contract (6+ months tentative)
Interview: Phone and Face to face (client pay expenses for interview)
Job Description
Advanced Linux system administration and AWS administration skills
Proven ability to work well with internal clients, including development, operations, and QA teams
Solid understanding of client support processes and ticket management
Ability to install, upgrade, manage, and maintain software tools in a Linux environment
Solid understanding of and ability to apply security controls to applications within AWS
Proficient in shell scripting and/or Python programming
Basic understanding/experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes or other container orchestration
Deployment automation experience using Jenkins or other continuous integration tool
Qualifications:
Basic use of Ansible, Hashicorp Terraform and/or Packer tools
Experience with the Netflix OSS stack (Asgard, Eureka)
Application development experience
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Sensu, AppDynamics, Instana, or other monitoring tools
Advanced system administration skills
