Sr. DevOps Engineer
Position Overview
Designs and develops continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) solutions to meet business and IT needs. Performs technical design and implementation of the CICD pipeline. Aids in troubleshooting performance and configuration issues in a CICD environment.
Responsibilities
Provides technical expertise on key decisions and priorities related to CICD solutions
Analyzes and translates business and technical requirements into an structural blueprint outlining CICD solutions that will achieve the desired business objectives
Conceptualizes, defines, designs, develops, tests, deploys and maintains scripts in a CICD environment. Diagnoses and resolves technical issues.
Works in close collaboration with business and technology partners to evaluate, design and/or integrate new technologies into the CICD toolset.
Performs user and access administration on designated systems and applications, in accordance with the defined policies, standards and procedures of the organization
Reviews and ensures quality of artifacts produced by team members
Develops and documents the policies, procedures and architecture for the integration and implementation for changes to technical standards
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented
May mentor less senior team members
Competencies
Strong Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills
Strong scripting skills in both Windows and Unix environments required
Strong Design and Documentation Skills
Strong Programming skills in .NET and/or Java required
Experience with one or more CICD tools (e.g., Source Code Control tools, Jenkins, Nunit, Puppet, Chef, Nexus, etc strongly preferred
Proficient in Mongodb and sql server
Ability to be readily adaptable to changes given a dynamic work environment
Ability to contribute to team success as well as work independently
Ability to effectively communicate including building strong strategic working relationships

Initiative Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in Information Systems and 10+ years of experience as a developer or architect or an equivalent combination of education and experience, required
