Role:- Sr. DevOps Architect
Location:- Omaha, NE
?Duration: 6 months contract with potential extensions
Interview :- Phone/Skype
Visa :- EAD, GC, USC, TN visa (No H1b/OPT)
?Client? need someone at the Architectural level from a CI/CD background. Must be an expert in DevOps and Datacenter technologies with solid knowledge in infrastructure and support, including virtualization and provisioning.
Responsibilities:
· Design, architect, and implement the CICD architecture and automation solutions
· Implement, maintain, and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments
· Own and lead initiatives to define, design, and implement DevOps solutions which includes reference architectures, estimates, and costing
· Advise business and technology delivery leadership on how to translate the client’s infrastructure and automation business requirements into executable technology solutions
· Participate in customers workshops and provide presentations of the proposed solution
· Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices with Cloud Formation, Auto Scaling Groups, and Configuration Management
Requirements (Mandatory):
· 10-12 yrs Architectural level experience
· 8 yrs experience with CI/CD pipeline
· 5-7 yrs hands-on recent DevOps experience
· Strong knowledge and expertise in DevOps solution delivery and strategy
· Perform analysis best practices and emerging concepts in DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, and Enterprise Security
· Create technical documentation Expertise on all the DevOps tools
· CI/CD - Automate build, packaging, test pipelines and deployments with Jenkins, git
· Expertise in Jenkins, Expertise Ansible, Ansible Tower, Docker, Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, Rancher
· Experience with software build management -e.g. SVN, Maven, Gradle, Git/Github
· Experience with Shell scripting/programming -e.g. Bash, Groovy, PowerShell, Python.
· Experience with SCRUM/Agile -e.g. Atlassian JIRA, Bamboo
· Exposure on Java, .Net application deployment on CICD
· Expertise in Handling Micro Services
· Possibility of Travel with in US - 30 to 40 percentage
Secondary Skills Needed (preferred):
· Data Center Build & Migration , DC Consolidation, Storage and backup services
· Capacity planning, automation and orchestration.
· Experience with UNIX/Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment.
· Experience with large server and application deployments and virtualization
· High level knowledge and understanding of application landscape from infrastructure perspective
· Experienced on Databases (mongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL
· Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Openstack, vmware, MS Azure, Vagrant
· Hands-on systems automation experience (Selenium, JUnit, Sonardube, Jacoco)
· Experience with Shell scripting/programming -e.g. ruby, php, nodeJS, Perl, etc?
