Position:Sr Desktop Engineer with SCCM
Location:Lowell, AR
Duration:3+ months with possibility of extension

Primary Skills:
Windows 10 (majorly), Windows 7(secondary), Active directory (Azure AD preferably), Skype for business 2016, Office365,

Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge
Microsoft Endpoint Protection/Windows Defender and Firewall
Microsoft Hyper-V, VDI
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Office 365
PC hardware (all form factors)
Software Packaging/MSI technologies
Windows 10
Windows and Office updates, WSUS
Windows hardware drivers
Windows OS deployment, boot images, task sequences
Bachelor''s level degree in Computer Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Seven or more years related experience.

Self-directed or under little supervision, the Senior Desktop Engineer is capable of planning and coordinating the team''s evaluation, design, installation, and ongoing support of a desktop environment that includes hardware, software, peripherals, and devices. The Senior Desktop Engineer is also responsible for providing direction on the use and implementation of technologies to meet business needs. A Senior Desktop Engineer is able to leverage a strong knowledge of enterprise technologies to coordinate efforts across engineering and technology groups.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Evaluate, recommend, test, document, and implement hardware/software solutions based on identified business needs.
Use decision making, creativity, and problem solving to diagnose and resolve highly complex technical problems while providing great customer service.
Remain current with industry best practices to develop subject matter expertise
Package applications and design distribution methods
Create, organize, and maintain endpoint hardware and software configuration standards
Develop advanced scripting, automation, or programs as needed to manage the desktop environment
Manage operating system and 3rd party software updates
Design and maintain operating system deployment and desktop provisioning processes
Manage projects by planning, working with others, and driving project timelines to accomplish cross department deliverables
