Description:
As a Design Program Manager you will work collaboratively with our design, product and engineering teams. You will help our designers work within an Agile framework as a shared resource across multiple scrum teams.
Master of the design process and working knowledge of the development process. Demonstrate depth of understanding of design deliverables and their strategic importance in the overall delivery of and implementation of the end-to-end experience as well as the cross-functional impact across design.
In addition to working within the Design Program Manger discipline to raise performance and leverage best practices, demonstrate a working understanding of the nuances of cross-functional disciplines to optimize the working cadences of their team.
An active leader of the design discipline, both advocates for and contributes to best practices and thought leadership. Demonstrate the ability to summarize advantages and disadvantages of processes and tools with the insight and experience to suggest and implement changes when necessary.
Coach & ensure team anticipates, identifies, prioritizes, and drives resolution of program-level issues related to the design process - leveraging lessons learned from prior experience & work to address & mitigate systemic issues. Demonstrate the ability to lead teams in their understanding and adoption of the processes and best practices inside and outside of client.
Demonstrates the ability to leverage design industry best practices to elevate the team. Initiate & guide teams through Design Reviews & Demos at both team & Domain levels. Actively seeks new opportunities to improve the team and overall organization. Looks beyond just design and understands how changes can improve the entire Domain.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of design principles and disciplines. Knows how to strategically partner across both Design, Product and Development.
