Job Title: Datacom DBA
Duration: 6+ Months CTH (USC, GC or EAD GC Only)
Location: Trenton NJ ( Local Candidates Only)
Responsibilities
Provide supplemental DATACOM Technical/Database support for upgrading DATACOM DBMS Version 14 to 15.1.
Assist in implementing changes based on recommendations from the CA M3A service.
Maintain and support DATACOM databases, providing backups, recoveries, and disaster recovery. Monitor space utilization for all DATACOM databases, logs, etc.
Monitor DATACOM database fragmentation and perform reorgs when required.
Provide logical and physical database design and implementation of physical DB structures into DATACOM DBMS.
Provide technical and lead database support for OIT projects to facilitate successful completion of established goals.
Daily core-hour on-site support presence and on-call availability during off hours.
