Overall 7+ years'' experience in data focused initiatives
Good functional understanding of financial functions/products/instruments/asset class like Derivatives, Money markets, Commodities, Trade and transactions, settlements etc.
Strong understanding of Data Quality processes
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
Any experience using big data tools like Apache Spark, Python etc to do analysis on data is a plus • Banking and Financial background is a must
Good to have domain knowledge of pre and post settlement lifecycle
Candidate should have exposure in working with global teams
Good analytical skills
