As a Senior Data Scientist you will work as a member of an Analytics Project Team within the Enterprise Analytics Accelerator (EAA) to generate high-value business insights on transformational, analytical projects. In addition, you will:
o Act as lead Data Scientist for assigned projects within the EAA and consult on others
o Work with multiple large, complex, diverse data sets and perform appropriate analytical methodology to provide insights and decision modeling for the specified Accelerator projects
o Create and implement algorithms which manage the data to enable it to be analyzed in an efficient manner and to enable analytical repeatability
o Lead the identification of the required data sources and work with the EAA Data Wrangler to implement methodologies to retrieve and use this data
o Lead the communication of derived insights in such a manner easily understandable by business partners, especially through appropriate visualization techniques. Explain implementation and usage in business terms
o Proactively stay up-to-date with the latest appropriate analytical techniques and recommend these where needed, especially from academia
o Work closely with the Data Infrastructure teams to ensure data is stored efficiently and in such a way to facilitate the required analytics
o Proactively apply analytical techniques to prospect for business insights and find patterns in data which could be valuable for the business
o Act as technical specialist for IT Domain management for all matters concerning analytical techniques
o Take the lead role in assessing third party analytic platforms
o Play a lead role in advancing the business transformation of the Enterprise through analytics, for example through discussions with the Analytics Leadership Team (ALT)

What Skills You Need
o 10+ years in IT
o In-depth knowledge of current analytical platforms with the ability to utilize these fully independently
o 5+ years of experience applying statistical analyses and analytical methodologies on advanced analytics projects,
o Ability to demonstrate your development of algorithms and predictive models to solve business issues
o 2+ years of experience working on cross-functional projects
o Ability to understand quickly the various business processes currently utilized in a Manufacturing Enterprise environment
o Ability to communicate complex analytical insights in a manner which is clearly understandable by business partners
o Higher level proficiency in using SQL, SAS, R, Python
o Ability to demonstrate a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience in statistical and analytical techniques
