Sr. Data Quality Project Manager
Location – Redmond, WA
Duration – Through end 2019 with possible extensions
Qualifications:
Six Sigma Certification preferred
Strong and proven experience in Data Management, Master Data Management, Data Quality
Knowledge of one or more profiling tools - Informatica / Talend
Excellent communication and relationship building skills
Program or Project Management experience
Conversant with Microsoft BI technology (SQL, PowerBI, SSIS, SSAS)
Previous experience with Microsoft is a plus
Job Description
Understand various strategic initiatives related to Data currently in progress
Use Six Sigma / alternate process optimization techniques to understand business / data related issues and solve for those
Define and manage a data quality discovery and reporting rules
Understand linkages / business rules between data sets, data lineage
Understand / analyze / resolve enterprise data related issues, understand relationships, data quality criteria
Interact with various business group within the organization, understand data needs within the business group and drive data quality / data management and MDM related projects
Define success criteria / KPIs / desired outcomes / direct value delivered for these and future projects
Reporting to senior stakeholders / executives within the customer organization
Identify and program manage new initiatives that will help in driving delivery of direct tangible business value
Interface with various business and technical teams within the organization for the above activities
Understand rules and perform data profiling
