Position :Sr. Data Governance Analyst

Description:
Client is looking for a, highly motivated and energetic team player to interact with multi-disciplinary teams in order to deliver quality products to Client’s Data Governance. The qualified candidate must be able to define, develop, implement and manage innovative methods, procedures, data quality audits, terminology management and business requirements adherence. The candidate must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, willing and capable of learning new technical skills, and a motivated “self-starter”.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Consult with functional business partners in defining, developing, and documenting business rules, terminology mapping, definitions and lineage for data attributes in the DaVita data enterprise
Work with Business Engagement and Project Management Office to incorporate data governance principles, standards and processes in project life cycles and all new business integration activities
Lead functional/IT data owners and subject matter experts as needed, ensuring functional buy-in, engagement and appropriate sign-off on required project, terminology, and operational deliverables relating to data governance
Conduct/support data audits and initiate corrective actions to ensure data meets defined standards
Develop and maintain partnerships with business and analytic partners and serve as a resource for data/business rule questions
Other duties as assigned. Partner with business areas to develop a working understanding of business processes for managing terminologies and vital data
Drive requirements gathering for data governance criteria, thresholds and reporting
Participates in projects to identify problems and improve work processes and systems, including data development
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, TRAINING, OR QUALIFICATIONS
Broad experience using various IT tools for data queries, retrieval, reports, and data quality
Strong analytical skills with experience analyzing and resolving data issues, trends or exceptions including data conformity, data governance or data sensitivity aspects.
Knowledge of SQL (Oracle or MS SQL Preferred
Relational Database experience- Preferred
