IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Sr C# Developer to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Client is considering only LOCAL CANDIDATES for this position. Initial contract is for 6 months to a year with a possibility of conversion to full time whenever a FTE position becomes available.
This Description of Work Duties:
- Analyze Functional Flows & Business Requirements and document technical designs based on them. Implement technical designs in SQL and C# utilizing Winforms within a View Model architecture. Trouble shoot and resolve difficult technical defects caused by logic errors, compatibility issues with 3rd party tools and different environmental interfaces (web services, MQ, SQL, etc. Write SQL queries against a relational SQL database. Create application MSI, data conversion scripts, database scripts and other application dependency files for statewide deployment and ensure its success. Identify required or desired system capacity and performance improvements. Maintain and enhance existing C# web and windows services as necessary. Provide technical estimates when requested. Act as first line technical advisor for problem resolution of defects. Follow C# and SQL coding standards and recommend standards where they may be lacking.
- Perform technical evaluations of existing software and determine C# solution for replacing it. Provide support and knowledge to peers and to the user community. Assist others when needed in testing and documentation.
- The project consists of a PowerBuilder application hosting C# WinForm screens. The WinForms reside in .Net Class Libraries and utilize a View Model architecture. The PowerBuilder application communicates with the .Net Class Libraries via a COM Interop. Each release, the C# WinForms replace more and more of the PowerBuilder screens and eventually the PowerBuilder application will go away. You’ll recommend and implement architectural changes, design and implement major enhancements requested, convert screens and resolve defects.

SQL - Advanced - 4 years - Required
.Net Framework - Advanced - 3 years - Required
SQL - Advanced - 4 years - Required
Windows 7,8, and 10 - Intermediate - Required
IBM MQ - Intermediate
