Sr. Consultant – VMWare Horizon -REMOTE
Houston-TX
(1 Month Contract)

West side of Houston, TX. The client is an IT solutions provider that works primarily with local enterprise organizations, big and small, to provide them with the latest and greatest technology solutions within their IT environments.
This candidate will be working on a short term project for a customer of the client, an educational institution that is moving from physical equipment for their students to a virtual environment. Knowledge of handling the transition from desktops/laptops to a VDI environment is a critical skillset. Customer does not have any existing knowledge and will need to be lead on how to use the environment that has recently been setup.
MUST BE US CITIZEN OR GREENCARD HOLDER!
Required skillsets:
VMware Horizon 7
o Windows image management and deployment to support an 800 user environment.
o Currently 2 base images used today
o NVidia GPU experience
VMware App Volumes
o Support local team with application deployment and testing.
o ThinApp experience
VMware vRealize Operations Manager for Horizon
o Address any day to day issues identified in vRops dashboards
o Support for custom dashboards if needed
Ability to implement RDSH from scratch

VxRail knowledge and understanding
NSX knowledge and understanding
